1. Is it safe to use my credit card to make purchases?
PHONECARDCITY.COM.AU uses Paypal's SSL (World's leading credit card merchant company) to encrypt data communicated between your computer and our website and ensure no personal information is redirected. Thousands of Internet based transactions are secured every day by this technology. For further protection, our system is built with the state-of-the-art fraud-detection mechanism that minimizes the likelihood that your credit card will be fraudulently used.

2. I am certain my credit card is valid. Why is it declined?
PHONECARDCITY.COM.AU takes utmost care to prevent fraudulent credit card transactions. If your credit card was declined, it may be one of several things:

-. The information that you have entered might not be verifiable. Please verify that you are entering your billing address correctly.

-. You might have reached the credit limit of your credit card. Please use a different credit card.

3. If someone else finds my account information, can they use it to make purchases?
You can only login to your account if the valid password is supplied. So keep your account password safe.

4. How do I change my password?
Once you login to your account you will see a link "Change Detail". Click on 'Change Detail' link and enter your password. You will be taken to a page where you can type in your new password.

5. What do I do if I forgot my password?
To retrieve your password, go to our website. You will see a link that says ‘Forgot your password?’. Click on that link and you will be prompted to enter your username. Enter you username and your password will be delivered to your email address that is in your membership account information.

6. How do I update my account details?
Once you login to your account you will see a menu on your member page. Click on 'Edit Member Info' link and you will be taken to a page where you can type in the changes to your membership information.

7. Where can I find more information about each phone card?
Click on a phone card link or image and you will be taken to the page containing the detailed rates, access number and disclaimer information for that card.

8. How do I remove items from the Shopping Cart?
Once you click "My Cart" button you will see the contents of your Shopping Cart. On the right hand side of each item, there is a clickable button to remove the item.

9. I have finished shopping, how do I check out?
Click "Checkout" and you'll be taken customer login screen. If you are an existing customer, you will need to login for us to retrieve your information. If you are a new customer, you will need to fill out the membership form then click “Login”. Next, you need to click “Checkout" where you will be taken to the "Payment Info" page to provide your Credit Card information

10. How do I make payments for my purchase?
We accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, BANKCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS CLUB.

11. Can I make purchases over the phone?
No. All purchases must be made via our website

12. Will I be billed periodically?
No. All phone cards are prepaid.

13. How much worth of prepaid calling cards can I purchase each week?
New Member: To protect our new customer first order, we limit our customer to purchase a maximum of $30 worth of prepaid calling cards per user to try our products/service.
Existing Member: To protect our existing customers, we limit our customers to purchase a maximum of $100 worth of prepaid Calling Cards per user account per day.

14. How do I get the PIN number for the phone card I purchase?
All PIN are emailed instantly to customers. On the first purchase we may call your mobile or phone number to conduct fraud checking.

15. Will I receive the actual phone card I purchase in the mail?
No. We do not send actual Calling Cards to customers. For security purpose, if you are a new customer making your first purchase, you will receive a mobile text message welcome kit. The welcome kit contains your account activation code and PIN. Use these details to activate your account on our website. Once account is activated, you will receive your PIN on screen. For subsequent purchases, PINs will be sent instantly to your registered mobile number.

16. How soon will I be able to use a phone card after I purchase it?
You can make calls immediately once you have received your PIN.

17. How do I use my phone card?
It is as easy as 1-2-3:

  • Step 1: Dial Your Access Number
  • Step 2: Enter your Calling Card PIN Number
  • Step 3: For Australia: Area Code + Number. For International: Dial 0011 + Country Code + City Code + Number + #

18. How many minutes does each phone card provide?
The number of minutes available is determined based on the rate to the country you are calling. So, each time you use your Calling Card to place a call, the number of minutes available for that particular call will be calculated by the calling cards companies system and will be announced to you before the call connects

19. Can I transfer the remaining balance of one phone card to another card?
No. You cannot transfer any remaining balance from one phone card to another.

20. Can I get a refund or replacement for lost/stolen/expired PIN numbers/unauthorised use?
Prepaid Calling Cards PINs are non-refundable. No refund or replacement is provided for lost, stolen or expired PINs or for unauthorized use. For inaccurate billing or missing minutes on your card, you need to contact the phone card issuing company directly for a faster solution. Their customer service number can be found either in our phone card web page or the calling instruction we sent you via email.

21. How does PhonecardCity use cookies?
Cookies are pieces of information generated by a Web server and stored on a user's computer. PhonecardCity does not use cookies to track or collect information specific to the web activities of our customers. We exclusively use cookies to authenticate users accessing the Control Panel and securely store login data. We use a session cookie, which allows the cookie to remain active only while your browser is open. After the browser is closed, the cookie expires.
